dear law,
you and i have… issues.
i open your book and suddenly my brain goes into airplane mode.
not even offline mode. just fully gone.
you throw words like
"notwithstanding," "thereafter," and "hereinbefore"
like it’s some shakespeare fanfiction.
bro i’m not decoding riddles
i’m just trying to pass a paper 💀
also… why is one section 8 pages long??
why are there 3 provisos??
why is there an explanation to the proviso to the explanation of the main section??
law needs therapy.
and let’s not forget case laws.
yes bro, i totally remember what State of Madras vs Gannon Dunkerley & Co. said in 1959.
(aka: i don’t. i made chai instead.)
but here’s the funny part…
no matter how much i roast you,
i still come back to you.
every. single. day.
why?
because i know
that if i can understand you even a little
i can conquer you.
and let’s be real —
even though you’re dry and dusty and full of exceptions…
you kinda make me feel smart when i finally get something right.
so yeah… dear law,
you’re the toxic ex i keep taking back.
but maybe one day, we’ll work out.
or i’ll at least pass the exam.
